The match at Valero Stadium was decided in two extra periods.
But the difference in bravery and outstanding team quality between the home team and the big man from Madrid was clearly shown in the second extra time.
In the 108th minute, Dani Ceballos – who entered the field in stoppage time of the second half – penetrated 16m50, received the ball from Casemrio and then kicked with his left foot.
Seven minutes later, it was Hazard’s turn – who entered the field at the same time as Ceballos – to shine.
This is the first goal Hazard scored for Real in 17 matches on all fronts this season, and his sixth goal in 60 matches with Real since being bought for 100 million euros from Chelsea in summer 2019. Including

Angered by being denied a goal, substitute striker Pere Milla reacted violently to the referee after he awarded Real a direct free kick in injury time.
Coach Ancelotti shared his joy with Isco (right) and Ceballos – the substitution duo combined to bring a 1-1 equalizer for Real.
