Adapting Veronica Roth’s debut novel to the big screen was the right decision by the producers, because it possesses a relatively unique idea about Earth in a near future, desolate, humanity.

Divergent could have been more attractive if director Neil Burger sped up the pace, increased the number of action scenes, and cut out the cumbersome details that sometimes made the audience feel impatient.
