The Ministry of Education announces the national high school exam regulations 9
On the evening of February 26, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the regulations of the national high school graduation exam and university and college admission in 2015. With the goal of getting results to consider recognizing high school graduation;
Math and Literature exams for all grades
Taking place on July 1, 2, 3, 4, 2015, the national high school graduation exam will hold exams in 8 subjects: Mathematics, Literature, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
To be considered for recognition of high school graduation, candidates must take 4 subjects, including 3 compulsory subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and one subject of the candidate’s choice from the remaining subjects.
Candidates who are not allowed to study Foreign Language or study in conditions that do not ensure quality will be considered and decided by the Director of the Department of Education and Training to choose an exam subject to replace Foreign Language among the elective subjects.
To be considered for recognition of high school graduation and admission to universities and colleges, candidates must take the 4 exams mentioned above and register to take additional exams in accordance with the combination of exam subjects for admission as prescribed by the university or college.
Two types of exam clusters
Exam clusters for candidates who are both considered for recognition of high school graduation and admission to universities and colleges will be hosted by the university in coordination with the Department of Education and Training.
Candidates who only take the exam to be considered for recognition of high school graduation will have the exam organized in clusters at schools or inter-schools of the province, chaired by the Department of Education and Training in coordination with the university.
The 2015 national high school graduation exam and university and college admission regulations have many changes.
Submit application before April 30
Candidates fill out the exam registration documents according to the instructions of the schools. Candidates are free to register at the location prescribed by the Department of Education and Training.
In special cases, additional types of certificates are allowed to receive priority benefits and bonus points, which must be done before the exam date.
Main topics in the 12th grade curriculum, 10-point scale
The exam will ensure the classification of candidates’ qualifications, meeting both basic requirements (for high school graduation) and advanced requirements (for university and college admission).
The officials who draft the exam questions and review the exam questions are lecturers at universities and colleges, researchers at research institutes, and high school teachers.
Teachers grade the essay exam according to the Ministry’s grading instructions, answers, and scoring scale.
4 result certificates
Candidates are given 1 exam result certificate to be used to consider their 1st choice and 3 exam result certificates to be used to consider additional wishes.
The certificate used for 1st choice admission can apply to up to four majors (or major groups) of the same school in the first round.
If they are not accepted for choice 1, candidates have the right to use the remaining three exam result certificates to register for admission to additional wishes.
5 points or more to graduate
Graduation scores include scores of 4 exams candidates registered to consider for graduation recognition, priority and encouragement scores (if any) and average score for the entire 12th grade year;
Graduation scores are taken to two decimal places, automatically performed by computer software.
Candidates who are eligible to take the exam, are not disciplined from the level of exam cancellation or higher, all exams score above 1 point and have a graduation score of 5 points or more will be recognized as graduating from high school.
After reporting to the Ministry, the Director of the Department of Education and Training announces the results of graduation recognition and notifies high schools to post graduation lists and issue temporary graduation certificates to candidates.
Regularly inspect exams
To ensure that the exam takes place seriously, the Minister of Education will establish teams to inspect exam preparation, invigilation, marking, review and recognition of high school graduation at all Councils and Departments of Education.
Thus, after more than 45 days of referendum, the Ministry of Education has completed the exam regulations with many changes such as organizing more local exam clusters depending on requirements, abolishing the 20-point scale, returning to the 10-point scale,
