According to Prime Minister Johnson’s announcement, he was tested for Covid-19 on the advice of Professor Whitty.

A spokesman for the British Prime Minister’s office denied the possibility that Professor Whitty contracted the virus from Prime Minister Johnson.

Duncan Selbie, executive director of the British public health agency, said on March 26 that he was self-isolating because he had symptoms of virus infection.

Minister Sunak has so far not self-isolated and does not have any symptoms.

Carrie Symonds, the girlfriend of Prime Minister Johnson, is pregnant and is said to be self-isolating as advised by the government.
