3% of patients in Ho Chi Minh City need Covid-19 screening 3

Ho Chi Minh City Among the 393,560 visits to hospitals during the Tet holidays, there were 12,983 medical declarations belonging to the risk group that needed to be screened for Covid-19.

This information is displayed on the data dashboard of the Department of Health, tracking the results of medical declarations of people visiting hospitals in the city from February 8 to February 16.

Summarizing the results of medical declaration, about 3% of patients need to be triaged and screened.

In order to prevent Covid-19 from infecting hospitals, Ho Chi Minh City has also conducted testing and surveillance of all people at hospitals.

In addition to creating convenience for people to declare when visiting hospitals, the electronic medical declaration application has been effective when the City Center for Disease Control continuously updates epidemiological factors on declaration forms.

To date, 129 public and private hospitals in the city use the Department of Health’s electronic medical declaration application.
