According to Pagesix, Nouvel’s side believes that the actor and his staff have launched a campaign for many years to `gain control` of the French winery, which the star couple jointly owns.

According to the lawsuit, the pair signed an agreement that Jolie would run all joint philanthropic projects, including the Jolie-Pitt foundation, while Pitt would oversee their investments in the estate.
Records show that in October 2021, Jolie sold Nouvel to an international beverage group after Pitt refused his ex-wife’s proposal to sell shares in the winery to him.
Nouvel is the company Angelina Jolie established to co-own the wine estate with Brad Pitt’s Mondo Bongo company, each holding 50% of the shares.
The actor was also accused of wasting the company’s budget, including spending $1 million to build a swimming pool.
The couple rented the estate for three years, from 2008 to before buying it completely in 2011. The two held their wedding here in 2014. The estate was also where Jolie vacationed while pregnant with twins Knox and Vivienne.
