Regarding testing, Mr. Dam noted that in epidemic areas, depending on the situation, rapid testing combined with PCR should be used, ensuring savings, efficiency, and `not lining up`.
Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long said he will negotiate with major manufacturers in the world such as Korea, Europe, China… to buy rapid testing biological products and domestic businesses to buy RT biological products.
The Ministry is also calculating the need for equipment to treat serious and critical patients such as ECMO systems, high-function ventilators, high-pressure oxygen ventilators (HNFC), electric injection pumps, slow dialysis machines, and function monitors.
The Steering Committee agreed to assign the Ministry of Health to list all equipment that needs to be purchased.
