The Politburo assigned Mr. Le Thanh Hai to direct the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee 2
On the morning of October 17, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress announced the results of the election of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Executive Committee for the 2015-2020 term, including 69 people.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee elected Mr. Vo Van Thuong – Member of the Party Central Committee as Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term and three Deputy Secretaries are: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong – Member of the Executive Committee
Politburo member Le Thanh Hai and 4 Deputy Secretaries of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Executive Committee.
15 people were elected to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee including: Vo Van Thuong, Tat Thanh Cang, Nguyen Thanh Phong, Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam, Than Thi Thu (Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Propaganda Department), Vo Thi Dung (Head of the Organizing Committee).

The Congress elected the Ho Chi Minh City Party Delegation consisting of 35 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates, along with 7 ex-officio delegates representing the City Party Committee and People to attend the 12th National Congress.
This morning, the 10th Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also announced the results of voting on a number of key targets of the 10th Congress of the City Party Committee.
